    Omicelo, LLC, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an experienced and dedicated Accountant to manage financial, operational and human resource activities across the business enterprise.

     

    The Accountant will:

     

    • Implement business plans and strategies set forth by the partners, organizational leadership and stakeholders

    • Ensure the company has the adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities

    • Provide collaborative leadership in financial management, human resources and operational policy development

    • Create and disseminate financial reporting to staff, owners and investors

    • Assist the Executive, Controller and program managers with preparation and execution of the annual budget

    • Engage internal and external partners in execution of all audits

    Omicelo is looking for a candidate with previous experience with diverse business lines; creation of timely and user-friendly financial statements; a deep commitment to funding compliance, general expertise in human resources and a high-level understanding of project/agency operations.

    Qualifications and Experience

     

    • Degree in Accounting or Business Management with a Finance focus

    • Proven experience as business manager or relevant role

    • Familiarity and mastery of generally accepted accounting principles, labor and personnel law and human resource practice

    • Excellent organizational and leadership skills

    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

    • Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development

    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases and information systems

    • Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques

     

    Key Skills

     

    • Hands-on experience and mastery with accounting and payroll/benefits software

    • Advanced MS Excel use and management

    • Strong verbal and written communications

    • Teaching and coaching non finance staff in financial management

    • Budget Development

    • Creation of effective and impactful visual representations of financial information
