    Construction Manager

    Omicelo, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Construction Manager to direct, coordinate and oversee residential renovations. The Construction Manager will:

    • Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
    • Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.
    • Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
    • Prepare bids in conjunction with subcontractors and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with subcontractors and homeowners.
    • Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
    • Select, contract, and oversee workers who complete full scope and specific pieces of the project.
    • Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
    • Supervise a team of construction workers and trades people.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • 8 years of Experience in the Construction Industry with progressive promotion to oversight of projects and teams.
    • GC License
    • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, construction management or related field
    • Possess reliable vehicle and be available to travel across the region
    • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses and apartments and their systems
    • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

    Qualifications and Experience
