    Construction Supervisor

    Omicelo Construction Group, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a seasoned and flexible Construction Supervisor. The Supervisor leads the Home Adaptation Team in the identification of home modification strategies that will improve the health and safety of the participants home while enhancing their mobility. The team will serve multiple regions across Southwest PA and presents unique opportunities to learn new skills and experience a new and expanding industry.

    The Supervisor will:

    • work in tandem with occupational therapists and participants to create the scope of work needed
    • work with subcontractors to fully outline materials and labor needed to meet the participant’s needs
    • oversee each adaptation site
    • manage scope of work for associated subcontractors, vendors and trades
    • communicate information to all involved parties throughout the course of each project

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Determine work estimates and gauge progress/quality of work
    • Identify and contract with vendors and subcontractors
    • Ensure all tools and materials are available for projects
    • Understand and assure adherence to building code
    • Maintain communication with team and clients.
    • Ensure contractors are following work plans
    • Oversee timelines and quality of work
    • Certify all work and finalize documentation needed across project stages
    • Ability to travel independently across the region


    • Formal Education not required
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in general construction worker/handyman services
    • Experience in accessibility modification and home adaptation. 
    • Experience creating and following project budget
    • Ability to use basic office and construction related technology platforms
    • Demonstrated skill in building/design
    • Knowledge of estimating, plan reading and scoping projects
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems
