    ADA Home Renovation Manager

    Omicelo Construction Group, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Home Renovation Manager to direct, coordinate and oversee the operations of its Home Adaptation division. The Home Adaptation Program allows for physical adaptations to the private residence of the participant to enable the participant to function with greater independence in the home. This includes primary entry and exit into the home, facilitating personal hygiene, and the ability to access common shared areas within the home. Home Adaptations consist of installation, repair, maintenance, permitting, inspections and warranties for work across Southwestern PA. The Manger will participate in the conceptual development of adaptation projects and oversee their organization, scheduling, implementation and provide quality assurance. The Manager will:

    • Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
    • Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.
    • Monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
    • Reviews and submits bids in conjunction with subcontractors and negotiates revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with subcontractors and patient.
    • Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
    • Select, contract, and oversee workers who complete full scope and specific pieces of the project.
    • Oversee the Adaptation Supervisors

    Qualifications and Experience

    • 8 years of experience in the Construction Industry with progressive promotion to oversight of projects and teams. 
    • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, construction management or related field
    • Possess reliable vehicle and be available to travel across the region
    • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses and apartments and their systems
    • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
    • Experience in accessibility modification and home adaptation.
