Joshua founded Omicelo in 2014, driven by the belief that real estate investment must be approached holistically in order to achieve truly sustainable communities. As a US real estate and financial management expert, Joshua led US housing research for Goldman Sachs throughout the Great Recession and was responsible for a $100 million portfolio of real estate securities at Pine River Capital Management. He has received numerous awards, including an addition to the Forbes' 30 under 30 list. He currently serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations.
Kathleen joined the company in 2016 to lead investor relations, monitor compliance, and oversee all aspects of HR. She brings over 30 years of mortgage expertise as a leader in non-performing loan acquisitions and servicing. Kathy formerly spearheaded policy and technology at Freddie Mac, Claims Recovery Financial Services and other organizations. She continues to serve as the Executive Advisor of Housing Initiatives at Military Warriors Support Foundation, a nonprofit which has provided mortgage-free homes to over 800 veterans.
Jeffrey brought his expertise in analytics to Omicelo in 2016 to lead all research initiatives. He formerly served as a Vice President at The Carlyle Group and was the lead portfolio manager for two real estate funds in excess of $2 billion. He built proprietary economic predictive models using advanced statistical coding programs. Jeffrey also served as a Repo Trader at GMAC RFC Securities and a Quantitative Analyst for Corporate Executive Board. He currently serves on the board of directors to an education-focused nonprofit.
Omicelo is seeking an experienced and dedicated Accountant who will provide assistance to the company owners, controller, auditors and other company associates. The Accountant reports to the Controller and will have a wide range of accounting tasks such as creating and supporting financial models, reconciling accounts and producing financial statements.
Omicelo Construction Group is seeking a seasoned and flexible Construction Team Leader (CTL) to lead construction crews across Southwest PA. They will translate project plans to the team, create project schedules and monitor work progress. The CTL will delegate duties, cultivate staff skills, resolve any team conflicts, and coordinate all team logistics. This is a regular, full time position with a salary range of $19-$26 per hour. Mileage and cell phone reimbursement will be provided.
Omicelo Construction Group is seeking a Construction Technician (CT) responsible for providing technical assistance for construction activities across Southwest PA. The CT guides the construction crew in daily activities, co-ordinates with vendors and the construction crew, addresses emergent issues at the work site, mentors and trains new staff.
Omicelo is seeking a Maintenance Technician (MT) who is responsible for the maintenance and light repairs of the buildings within Omicelo’s real estate portfolio and serve as the primary contact for any outside personnel, contractors, or vendors who provide services for Omicelo’s properties.
Omicelo Construction Group is seeking a Vice President of Construction who will have direct leadership responsibility for the construction business unit of the company. The VP of Construction will be responsible for the growth, construction operations, financial health and business practices of the construction business unit including the management of a team of construction and administrative professionals that are energized by the high growth of the company.
